About the Marsha Morton Memorial
The tournament is named in honour of Marsha Morton, a Canadian Cystic Fibrosis poster child and daughter of long-time members of the Kin Club of Orleans and District. Marsha succumbed to CF at the age of 12 in 1988. Young children and adults die every year from Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. There is no cure.
2024 will mark the 17th time for this tournament. Proceeds go to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Over the years this tournament has made a significant contribution to advance CF research and care.
